
Parade Rules
St. Patrick’s Day Parade Rules and Regulations-Milford Borough:
The below rules for all parade participants, while not all inclusive, will attempt to make our parade proceed in a safe and enjoyable manner for participants and spectators.

The parade will commence promptly at 3:00pm on Saturday, 3/21/2026 from Ann Street Park. All marching units should arrive by 2:00pm.

All marching units should have ONE banner identifying the unit. US, Pennsylvania and Irish flags are strongly encouraged. No other flags are permitted.

No alcohol consumption or display is allowed in the parade. No cups or glassware are allowed in the parade and no eating or drinking except for bottled water is permitted.

No animals or mascots except for “Service Dogs” are permitted in the parade route.

Each unit is responsible for the conduct of all its participants.

Marchers who hold political office are permitted to participate as a unit, not individually, to represent the office they currently hold without signs, but not as a candidate for any office. Political candidates can march with any unit they are affiliated.

No campaign buttons, signs, apparel or other material advertising any political candidate or for a political cause is permitted in the parade route.

Candy may be handed out, NOT THROWN, by units marching on foot. Nothing shall be thrown from mechanized vehicles or floats.

Commercial, political or religious printed materials are not to be distributed while in parade formation. This material can be distributed by people affiliated with your group from the sidewalk.

Mechanized vehicles must have at least one person walking on each side for safety reasons and be driven by a qualified licensed driver. By participating, you represent that these vehicles are legal to be driven within the Commonwealth of PA.

The maximum size for any mechanized unit is one tractor trailer length and no higher than 12’ due to power lines.

The Parade Committee reserves the right to exclude from participation any unit at any point in the parade route if they violate the rules and regulations of the parade.
